Tortuguero Hill Hike
For this activity we travel from Tortuguero to San Francisco Village where the Tortuguero Hill is located. After registration you hike in a well maintained concrete trail observing toucans, bats, spiders, monkeys, frogs, ants, snakes and much more. This tour last 3 hours including a visit to the local native village of San Francisco where you can learn about local cultures, traditions, housing, education and all about their daily life.
What to bring: Water, rain gear, hiking boots or sneakers, sun protection, insect repellent, fruit, dry-fit, hat or cap, long sleeve shirts are better, camera and binoculars and cash to buy something in San Francisco.
What is included? 2:00 hrs jungle hiking. Local Bilingual Certified Naturalist Guide. Visit to Local Native Village.
Meeting Location: Almendro Dock area in Tortuguero Village.
